How Multimillionaires Acquired Their Wealth - The Van Trump Report, April 29, 2015, Kevin Van Trump
4/29/2015
In an annual report from Spectrem called “Financial Behaviors and the Investor’s Mindset”, ultra high net worth investors (those with $5 million to $25 million or more) were asked what factor they felt was the main contributor to the creation of their wealth. “Hard Work” was the number one answer, chosen by 96% of those surveyed. That was followed by “Education” at 93% and “Smart Investing” at 90%. Spectrem came up with even more interesting results when they separated responses by age. Only 81% of investors under the age of 49 said “hard work” got them where they are wealth-wise. That age group was also far more likely than others to point to “inheritance” (38%) and “running their own business” (46%). (Source: Business Insider)
