September 4, 2015 Fact of the Day: Millennials Enjoy Investing

 

DID YOU KNOW THAT – only half of Millionaire Millennials want to have daily involvement in the management of their financial accounts?

 

 

 

 

Did you know that Millennials are more likely to enjoy investing than older generations?  In fact, 64 percent of Millennials with more than $1 million of net worth enjoy investing and do not want to give it up.  Forty-eight percent of Millennials with less than $1 million enjoy investing as well.  This compares to only 54 percent of Millionaire WWII investors and 35 percent of non-Millionaire WWII investors that enjoy investing.

This research is based upon a report by Spectrem Group entitled The Investing Habits of Millennials that includes in-depth research with almost 400 wealthy Millennials regarding their financial and investment habits.

Despite the fact that they enjoy investing, only 51 percent of Millionaire Millennials want to be involved in the day-to-day management of their accounts and 36 percent of non-Millionaire Millennials feel similarly.  This provides opportunity for financial firms that want to assist them with their investments.  Find out more in the Investing Habits of Millennials.
