The economy and global markets experienced a positive year in 2021, resulting in increasing net worth for many investors, according to Spectrem Group’s Market Insights Report 2022. The number of U.S. households with a net worth between $1 million and $5 million, not including the value of the primary residence (NIPR), increased 8.1 percent from 11.6 million at year-end 2020 to 12.55 million by year-end 2021, an increase of 950,000 Millionaire households.
