June 22, 2015 Fact of the Day: Older investors prefer which type of advisor?
Did you know that older investors are more likely to use a Full Service Broker than younger investors?
A third of Baby Boomers and 37 percent of WWII investors use a Full Service Broker as their Primary Financial Advisor. What about Gen Xers? They are a little more diversified in the types of advisors they use for investment advice. While 23 percent use a Full Service Broker, 12 percent turn to their Accountant for advice. Ten percent use an Investment Manager...someone specialized in special types of investments. Sixteen percent use a Financial Planner.
Do you have a financial advisor? A financial advisor is more important than you may think. We don't all have time to research investments, or more importantly, understand the tax implications of various financial transactions.
